Counseling and Psychotherapy
Individual, family and couple's psychotherapy is available for both ongoing periods as well as time limited periods. Family psychotherapy may involve combination of individual, couples and families. The conditions for which psychotherapy can be effective include anxiety, depression, panic disorder, addictions, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and attention deficit disorder.
Comprehensive Behavioral Services provide a variety of medication management approaches for a variety of mental disorders. CBS has a wealth of experience, including antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics and stimulants. Mood stabilizers are particularly important for bipolar disorder. Very often, there is a comorbid disorder associated with generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder and depression. Antipsychotics may be utilized as necessary. The practice also has particular expertise with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder whether inattentive type or impulsive hyperactive type, using a variety of stimulants (non-stimulant medication is also available).
Each adults, child and adolescent receives a thorough diagnostic assessment, which can include complete psychological and neuropsychological testing, psychiatric and somatic diagnoses and other evaluations. The treatment of the patient often involves several sessions for full diagnostic assessment.

Sudstance Dependence and Abuse
Each patient is thoroughly assessed for addiction treatment as well as comorbidity. In addition to individual therapy, psychotherapy and medication management as needed. Medication management may include Buprenorphine in the treatment of opioid addicts and medications as Antabuse, Campral (Acamprosate) or Naltrexone, either pills or injections.
